MUSICOLOGY

Charalambos Spyridis

Professor of Music Acoustics at the Department of Musical Studies of the University of Athens. He studied Physics and got his Ph.D. at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His field of research includes Physics of Music, Mathematical Methods of Musical Composition, Music Intervals, Music Scales, Musical Instruments, Electroacoustics, Bioacoustics, etc. He is president of the Union of Greek Physicists, and active member of various scientific institutions.
